Placing an Order

Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo's web site. On-line ordering is straightforward and convenient; simply click the "Add to Cart" button from any product page on the web site and then follow the subsequent instructions.

If you would like to place your order by phone, Stork's Nest's Design Consultants are available to assist you 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. (mountain) Monday through Saturday.


Payment and Sales Tax

Presently, Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo accepts credit card payments from Visa, Master Card, and American Express. Personal and cashier's checks are also accepted.

Because Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo operates in Arizona, we are required to collect 8.1% sales tax on orders shipped to an Arizona address. Those who live outside Arizona will not be charged sales tax for orders placed on Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo, but may want to consult applicable tax laws in their state.

Order Status

If you'd like to check the status of your order, we encourage you to refer to your order confirmation where you will find the lead time for the items you ordered. Please note that the lead times reflected are for the production time needed to complete your items. Shipping transit times add one to three weeks to your lead time depending on the item and shipping method used. Small items such as accessories and bedding are shipped via UPS or USPS and should be delivered to the specified shipping address within three to five days of the lead time noted. Delivery of furniture may require up to three weeks, as Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo's specialized in-home furniture carriers take great pride in transporting and delivering your items safely.

Our artisans' rates and offerings may change from time to time. As a result, prices and availability of items in our collection are subject to change until orders are placed. When placing orders, charges reflected in your Shopping Cart, including merchandise prices, are subject to correction in the event of calculation or printing errors. If a pricing error occurs, Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo will contact you before proceeding with your order.

Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo is fortunate to work with artisans from around the world to create a unique collection of exceptional children's furnishings. Many items in our collection, though crafted by different artisans, are paired in our Designer Rooms. Finish and fabric colors of these items may not be an exact match, thus adding to the charm of the design.

Shipping time frames reflected in product descriptions are based on estimates from our artisans. Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo reserves the right to amend product information and shipping schedules due to artisan delays, changing conditions and product discontinuations. In the event of a shipping delay, Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo will notify you promptly and cannot be held responsible for shipping delays beyond estimated delivery times.

While the Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo team works diligently to review the safety of all products, Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo cannot be liable for accidents resulting in personal injury that involve a product purchased on the site. In addition, Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo is not responsible for copyright, registration or licensing infringement of products sold on the site.


Shipping

Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo ships merchandise via UPS, FedEx and specialized furniture carriers. Many factors determine which option is used to ship your purchase, including the weight and dimensions of the product. Our design consultants can provide you with specific details regarding what method of shipment will be used for your order. Orders which include multiple items will often be sent in multiple shipments, and may require different shipment methods.

Packages shipped via ground service (UPS, FedEx or other ground carrier) will be delivered to your front door. Some oversized items shipped via ground service incur a shipping surcharge in addition to regular shipping charges due to the size or weight of the item. The shipping surcharge is noted on an item's product page and in your Shopping Cart.

Furniture items that are shipped via Standard Delivery with specialized furniture carriers may also incur shipping surcharges. The shipping surcharge is noted on an item's product page and in your Shopping Cart. Furniture that is shipped via Standard Delivery with a specialized furniture carrier is typically placed inside the main threshold of the home. Because of our commitment to exceptional customer service, Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo also offers Premier Delivery for many oversized items in our collection. Upon delivery, the Premier Delivery carrier will unpack, place these furnishings in the room of your choice and discard the packing materials for you. (Assembly service is not provided.) If Premier Delivery is available for an item, it will be presented as an option on an item's product page. This convenient service is typically an extra $89 per item, above the regular shipping cost and surcharge.

If a specialized furniture carrier is used to ship your item, the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery time. Deliveries are scheduled within a four-hour window. If you are unable to meet the delivery driver at your scheduled appointment time, please call in advance to reschedule your delivery. If delivery cannot be scheduled within 10 days, applicable storage fees will be added to the shipping cost and applied to your credit card.

How to Receive Your Shipment

If you have ordered furniture from Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo, your order may be shipped via an in-home freight carrier. Most carriers schedule deliveries Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

You must be present to receive, inspect and sign for your delivery. Please DO NOT arrange to have shipments dropped off when no one is home. When the carrier contacts you, please make note of the company's name and phone number. This will be very helpful if you need to contact them for any reason. It is essential that you contact the carrier should you need to reschedule your delivery appointment. When delivery appointments are missed, the shipping company will assess a missed appointment charge of $49.

If you chose Standard Delivery, the delivery agent will place your item(s) just inside the main threshold of your home.

If you chose Premier Delivery, the delivery agent(s) will place your item(s) in the room of your choice, unpack the furnishings and remove the packaging from your home. Unfortunately, assembly service is not offered at this time. Should the delivery agent not perform all aspects of the Premier Delivery service you ordered, please contact Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo at 866-80-STORK at the time of delivery so that we may assist you.

Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo's artisans take great care in packaging their creations to ensure safe transport to your home. Although these items are packaged properly, in some instances transit-related damage may occur. It is imperative that you inspect your order carefully when it arrives. Take the time to note any damage to your furniture and to the packing materials on the delivery receipt. Do not sign the shipping documents without recording details of transit damage. (For example: the furniture is scratched, dented, cracked, fabric is torn and the box is crushed on the top corner, punctured or wet)

Upon inspection, if you find that your merchandise is damaged, you may choose to refuse the delivery. Damages must be reported to Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo at the time of delivery by calling us at 866-80-STORK. Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo will be unable to assist you in repair or replacement of damaged merchandise if it is not thoroughly inspected and documented as described above.

Freight companies are instructed to deliver items during the time frame scheduled with you, our customer. However, if you find that your furnishing(s) were delivered when you are not at home, please do not move the boxes. Contact Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo immediately for further instructions.
